Digital Team recognized in The Boston Globe

A few ladies on the WGBH Digital team have joined other industry females to continue to learn new skills and network through tech-focused women only, sorry guys, Boston local meet-up groups. Both in small groups together and individually we have been attending various courses like CSS Basics instructed by Women’s Coding Collective and networking and getting inspired at meet-up events like Code & Coffee hosted by Girl Develop It . Oh and a cool thing happened where we were mentioned in The Boston Globe.

At WGBH, the public broadcasting station, producers and designers recently took classes in HTML to get a better understanding of how the programming end of their projects work. – Joan Axelrod-Contrada, Boston Globe Correspondent
